Geospatial technologies are utilized by every section of the Kansas Division of Emergency Management.  Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.) is a system of hardware, software, personnel, and data that allow users and decision-makers to analyze, store, manipulate, and visualize data by its location on the earth's surface.
