Terri Ploger-McCool– Preparedness Program Branch Director

  • Terri is responsible for the overall coordination of preparedness initiatives within the Division, as well as with other vested partners at the local, regional, state and federal levels. This includes budgetary management, grant reporting, regional collaboration, new program development, emergency management and homeland security policy integration, system coordination, partnership enhancements, and strategic planning opportunities. 

Isabel Herrera Schultes– Administrative Specialist, Preparedness Branch

  • Isabel is responsible for the daily administrative functions of the Preparedness Branch, as well as provides program support and internal/external customer service to all special projects and preparedness initiatives coordinated by the section. Isabel is also responsible for the administration of the KS-TRAIN website and student records.

Erin McGinnis– Training Officer

  • Erin is responsible for coordinating all Kansas Homeland Security and Kansas Emergency Management Training. This includes facilitating attendance for first responders at courses outside of Kansas, arranging for the delivery of emergency management and homeland security courses within Kansas, developing a quality instructional delivery cadre, and coordinating training needs and opportunities with state and local partners.
