Child and Youth Services

The mission of Army National Guard (ARNG) Child & Youth Services (CYS) is to promote and sustain the quality of life and resilience of Army National Guard dependent children and youth by providing secure, timely, flexible, high-quality support services and enrichment programs.

We teach children resiliency and support the children through different programming.   We work with military children in 11 schools throughout Topeka during the school year to teach them different character traits as well as resiliency. During the summer months we have a weeklong camp that is open to youth ages 8-18.

Serve on the Kansas ARNG Teen Council! We are a volunteer group of Guard Teens who participate in leadership symposiums, service-learning projects, and help plan yearly Teen Council events. The Teen Council is a place for Military Teens to speak out, be heard, and inspire change. The Teen Council looks great on resumes and college applications. See our flyer here!
