The Business Analytics Intern will be responsible for supporting customer operations, creating reports, troubleshooting data issues, and ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create daily, weekly and monthly reports*
- Communicate with third parties on a daily basis*
- Implement processes to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets*
- Retrieve data from various reporting systems and use tools to generate recommendations
- Research discrepancies and identify root cause of errors
- Place orders with banking partners
- Make recommendations for process improvement opportunities and recommend system improvements by studying current practices
What you need to bring to the table:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Outlook skills. Experience with common data analytics tools (R, Tableau, Python, SAS, Spark, etc.) and/or database software is a bonus
- Ability to identify and communicate discrepancies in information
- Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to make phone calls to banks to provide them with required data
- Ability to effectively prepare materials and communicate your insights
- Must be available Monday through Friday from 7-10 am
