As a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) intern, your role will primarily involve supporting and contributing to the organization's efforts to foster a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives, policies, and programs.
- Conduct research on diversity best practices, industry trends, and emerging issues related to diversity and inclusion.
- Support the planning and coordinating of diversity-related events, workshops, training sessions, and affinity group activities.
- Collaborate with the DIB team to create educational materials, resources, and communications to promote awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion topics.
- Help analyze data and metrics related to diversity and inclusion efforts and contribute to preparing reports and presentations.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring diversity and inclusion principles are considered and integrated.
- Support developing and maintaining employee resource groups (ERGs) or affinity groups, including providing logistical assistance and attending meetings.
- Help develop and deliver diversity and inclusion training sessions or workshops to employees.
- Stay updated on current research, trends, and legislation related to diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and share relevant information with the team.
