DH Pace Company, Inc. in Olathe, KS is searching for a Safety Intern to join our team in Summer 2023! We are considering candidates who are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Safety or Construction Management with an emphasis in Safety. You will gain hands on experience with site/facility inspections, monitoring safety performance, and will have an opportunity to complete special project work during your internship.
Position Overview:
- Work closely with Safety team to ensure all Safety protocols are being adhered to regionally.
- Perform jobsite (field) inspections with the direction of the Regional Safety Manager or Safety Director.
- Audit, maintain, and manage driver qualification files.
- Support safety managers, directors, and executives in the preparation of meeting and training presentations and follow-up on timelines and deliverables.
- Assist with special project work
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
